  also, i left the JACK O LANTERN for a weekend longer than i meant to.  i meant to throw it away on friday since he was getting squishy and moldy.  ew. but i forgot and did it today when the hairy mold was starting to creep out of his face.  no way i was reaching in there for the light so i tossed it all.  good thing it still held together to be tossed in the trash.  ick. 

  
  

  WORDTANK!  you are finally mine.  i got it on ebay and it came really fast on saturday.  it seemed fast at least.  i dont even know when i actually bought it.  it s sweet tho.  especially since i figured out how to change the itnerface to english.  thought for a minute there that i was screwed since i bought it from someone in japan.  phew.  hes also selling a CASIO if anyone is interested.  good seller. 

  
  

  2 THINGS: two things are getting dire in my life.  one is laundry, i really need to do it.  usually once i feel like i should be doing it, it takes me about another week before i actually wash the clothes.  plus its getting chilly so that doesnt make me want to stick my hand into cold water.  THE OTHER is my hair.  im kind of apprehensive.  i guess i will cut it and not grow it.  how did i ever stand all this hair on my neck?  o yea, i always put it in a ponytail.  well, the thing is that i know that they know how to do asian hair, no problem.  they use a razor, fine, cool i ve had that done before.  it works great.  the thing is that i dont know if they will aim to do the thing that i want them to.  everyone in japan likes to have their hair thinned out with the razor.  a lot of girls have the equivalent of a few strands on the long side while the rest is chin length.  weird.  so i guess if i get a japanese hair cut it s still not that bad.  i just hope that its not too expensive.  julie said she got a little massage too. awesome!  when can i go?  christine got hers a bit shorter than she wanted, but she likes it.  i think that the person probably underestimated how much hair bounces up when dry if its not stick stiff and thick like japanese hair.  of course a lot of them get the stick straightness from the japanese perm.  i dont understand it, but i hear that a few percent of asian ppl have naturally curly hair (!) and a lot of them have kinks and cowlicks etc. 

  
  

  AHOY HAWAII!  looks like hawaii it is!  DEC 18th-JAN 6th.  holy shit!  that s the nicest vacay i ve ever had!  not counting 4 years of college and one year in japan.  hawaii might top the cruise, company excluded.  i can wait to burn to a crisp!!  anyone with some dough is welcome to join!  we re making it on the long side to avoid the new years major rush.  the fare isnt looking too bad actually!  just like a real nihonjin, going to hawaii!  except im pretty sure im going to leave my hotel room.
