movies that rock. thanks VH1!
Alumni Relations or some group encouraging donations to the College Fund threw the senior class a lobster dinner tonight. it was fun. i think the point was to mingle with the class and talk to ppl you havent seen in a while, but we didn’t do that at all. it was neat tho, and now i dont need to eat whole loster for a few years. it s just the fun or eating it, its barely a food. and i was practically hungry again right after dinner because you dont get to eat much of it, and you have to work so hard to get every bite.
i cant get a sub for work tomorrow night, so im going to just bite the bullet and not go to boston. boo. well, my fault for compartmentalizing and not realizing i was scheduling stuff at the same time i wanted to be in boston. in my mind, i thought, ” sure, i can work friday when i want to be in boston starting thursday night.” i mean, later, we realized we didnt want to miss the lobster dinner (which was free plus open bar!) but i did want to go to this party. boo. club FELT in boston will have to wait i guess. its a billiards club and lounge, which makes is a lot less naughty than what i was thinking.
scott and dave are trying to come for graduation yay. but they dont know for sure and i might have to change reservations- boo. who knows if thats even possible at this point. some things in the area have been reserved since before we matriculated. that is just sick. i mean, good thinking, but who can plan that far ahead? at least you had faith that your kid would graduate in four years.
JET: as for getting ppl to video tape stuff and send it to japan, will i even have a VCR? i barely know what that is anymore. and what would i request? would something plot driven be foolish since chances are i will miss episodes? my prefs for tv from home would be any vacuous show about pop culture on VH1, pretty much anything on MTV (no inferno pls), almost any show on Animal Planet (espec funniest animals), maybe the dead zone, CSI: miami or something. god, i hope i get those family guy dvds. btw, how does TBS plan on showing sex and the city? i think it will be crappy and unbearably devoid of nudity and foul language.
the book arts workshop in the library is another one of those places that needs to be discovered before senior spring!! i ve hit the pottery shop, jewelry shop and costume shop, but the book arts workshop eluded me til now. open every wed night! free awesome crafts!! im in love with the notebox i made and i want to make more stuff!!! i might even hit the workshop if i ever visit on a wed after ive graduated. craftster.org is a cool site if you are into that stuff like dianne, mle, janl… you know who you are.
