• KITTY: ok,  ive fed him 3 times now and he is the sweetest kitten.  and i think mashimaro is better than shiropetto so MASHI it is. i even bought cat food last night hoping that i would see him and i did.  i think he gets the deal now so ill buy a bit more today. 

  
  

  YO-YO ICE CREAM: so there s an amazing toy on the market that makes ice cream in a yoyo. it only makes about a few big bites of ice cream and the yoyo is large and awkward, but damn is that cool!!  you put some creamy ice cream stuff into the yoyo and put a special cold pack in and screw the pieces together then just yoyo away and out comes icream after 10 minutes!  so cool. 

  
  

  VEGETABLE: thats what i am.  today i waited around the house for the mail which never came.  i was hoping to get the card that emily sent from thailand so that i could continue my quest to drive but alas, it did not come.  i studied some kanji, made some cute little flashcards, the kind i always found useless in college, and then i forgot some kanji.  laid around the house trying to pretend its comfortable without the AC.  but its damn hot during the whole afternoon so i waited til late to venture out in search of email.  and that is what motivated me to move. --email.  wow. dartmouth screwed me up bigtime.  but the cat was laying right outside so that was a cute surprise.  and the bike was in the shade since it was so late in the day. yay- no scalded butt.  so things are looking up in some ways.  i think im going to head to a stationery store when i leave here.  that is a major thing.  and im not kidding.  i need to find cute shit to send to you ppl.  btw, i have no one`s address, so blitz that on in or you get no mail. 

  
  

  STAMP? so im coming into school very late in the afternoon.  this should be fine since no one is using the computer, or even in the room for that matter.  and i wasnt supposed to come in for work anyway.  i really have no work yet.  but theres a woman coming down the hall.  i greet her and she starts saying some stuff.  i must admit my japanese is getting better.  at least my vocab, but some things still elude me.  so i dont really get what she is saying, but i think it was something about stamping my hanko when i work.  but today im just coming to use the computer for a little while.  and for the back days, im not really sure.  so i did understand that i should ask kitahara sensei later.  and i did do some stamps for july.  days which i ve already been paid for.  an envelope with some cash in it.  cool. 

  
  

  TV: good news! im getting more than one station.  i get about 2 or 3 well right now and a couple of others semi well...watchable at least.  i dont know what the trouble was.  the channels that dont really come in are mostly repeats of channel one tho. ...weird.  i think i came across a show yesterday where ppl were guessing the color of underwear of a panel of 10 women.  hmm.  ok.  as well as a show where they play different games with uno cards. but they make it look REALLY FUN!  and all the sound effects for each card turning make it all the better.
