  • thanksgiving was sweet.  i ate lots of turkey.  my parents' house is a shambles as they are finally getting their roof fixed and taking the opportunity to extend the kitchen and such.  i stayed with my aunt.  her house is nice and cute with two kitties.

i cant find my passport.  ive suspected it to be in my room somewhere for the last week or so.  now i ve lost my wallet.  god this sucks.

  • hey, http://www.intrepidtravel.com/ won a responsible travel award!  thats cool.  i used this tour company to go to thailand and also indonesia.  i really like their style.  i also like how the tour is separate from the flight.  you find your own fare and then you can arrive early or stay late.  i had two really positive experiences and cant wait to use them again.

    *end commercial*

unites states of arugula was the sassiest historical novel ive ever read.  and yes, i am counting guns, germs, and steel.

  • im sick.  i had an interview today.  i went to a filipino-american poetry reading.  i ate korean fried chicken.  i painted scott's apartment a little.  ...

    not in that order.

actually i volunteered for a japanese culture day event for NY big brother/big sister.  i taught janken and chopsticks.  yay.  a karate dojo did a demonstration.  made me natsukashii for the hardcoreness of it all.

  • now that i have roomies to pour my heart and brain out to every day, i dont really feel the need to blog that much anymore.  i m thinking about starting a new chapter tho since i have this lifetime thing.  the new york chapter.  we get up to some cool things here.

for instance: today i thought mashi was standing near my leg and her whiskers were tickling my ankle.  it was a roach (or waterbug or whatever) crawling up leg.   dont you want to come here?
