  • good news, bad news plans are hatching.  looks like i might not come home for christmas and instead go somewhere with a british fellow.  actually one of the first ppl i met here.  but if i can afford it, im thinking i still shoot home sometime before april and use that credit from continental airlines.  unless i use it for this trip.  the options are hawaii and australia.  which are pretty much top on my list anyway.  some relaxing english speaking places.  if we go to the states, i might be able to use the credit.  not sure.  plus, i liked andy from the start.  hes really chill and not a belligerent drunk.

today i m going to try my hardest to buy some appropriate clothes for work.  that means kind of warm.  the math teacher wears a hoodie, so who knows what hes wearing underneath.  and some teachers wear their coats all day so i wear my dartmouth zip up when i m chilly.  the other JETs seem to think its weird that i have and wear so much of my college stuff.  flip flops, sweatshirt, zip up, many t shirts.  its tough to explain how much we love to wear it and how theres really only one good clothing store on campus: the DARTMOUTH STORE.  well, and the GAP.  and they give away a DAMN lot of tshirts for every occassion.  please dont drink alcohol, have a t shirt.

ive moved back to the floor for sleeping.  now i have one futon mat on my electric carpet.  like a blanket, but not comfy to be under.  and sitting on it is sometimes i little toasty for the old tuckus (tuchus?) even with jeans on and the carpet on low.  you re supposed to put another carpet on top of it or something.  MASHI doesnt seem to mind.  she likes to lay on it.  so we slept toasty like this last night.  i might be dead if i didnt have that cat.  really.  at least now, im talking to a living breathing thing and not just myself.

more later, only two classes today.

JOE'S HALLOWEEN PIX!! (in case thats not working its http://www.relaxinwithlovers.com/Halloween.hml.htm)

LOL, thats the funniest thing I've read on line for a long time. She sounded deaf?! Brilliant, send her to Oto, she would brighten my days.

  • I'm looking at the pics and trying to figure out which is you by trying to see who looks like an extasy dealer, but everyone does, so that must have been a good party
