• HOLY HALLOWEEN BATMAN!! they friggin LOVED the JACK O' LANTERN SESSION!  so maybe i should do more events after school.  3 second year students said they would write me a letter.  and i dont teach ANY of them.  and lots of teachers came too.  and some english teachers too, which was a relief at the end.  i basically went thru my whole halloween lesson. at least by now i ve learned the word for bat, pirate, dice, mummy, blood, scary, costume, and the name for rining the doorbell and running away.  THE REVELATION IS... its not DASHI like someone told me.  its PING PONG DASHU as in the english word DASH.  damn.  i would have had that if i hadnt gotten bad spelling info.  no wonder they dont know katakana english words.  i dont know them either.  so i enriched the lives of about 5 teachers and about 15 kids.  not bad.  they were into it and when we were done they all whipped out their phones to take pics.  one teacher, the one who sleeps blatantly on her desk all the time, was really into cleaning the inside of the pumpkin.  first she was taking the strings of gunk away and then i showed her how to scrape with the spoon and she shooed me off so she could do it.  DAMN, that pumpkin was clean by the end. 

  
  

  so ive ended the week on a good note even tho i feel totally useless in class.  im just talking loudly to some sleeping ppl who want to do their make up.  boys AND girls, i suspect.  hehe.  back on monday!
